Optician Certification
Graduates of the Optician/Technician Program may become certified by the American Board of Opticianry. Candidates must pass a written certifying examination given at various locations throughout the United States. Certification may be required by the state in which the optician plans to locate. Some states require licensing for opticians and many of these states use the ABO certification exam as part of their licensing process.
