Literature suggests that 10 to 30 percent of the general population experiences seasonal or perennial allergies. Of those, 75 percent (some say 90 percent) have ocular involvement--that's over 50 million people with allergic conjunctivitis! 40 million ocular allergy bottles are sold in the US each year. 4 million allergy prescriptions are written each year. This course will explore different types of and treatments for allergic conjunctivitis--including case reports.
