Today the practitioner has several different soft bifocal contact lenses from which to choose. By matching the patient's needs to the bifocal contact lens choice which best meets those needs, many presbyopic patients can enjoy the benefits of contacts. Educating patients on what to expect with bifocal contact lenses and being flexible when problem solving will also make the experience more positive.
