The demand for bifocal contact lenses has increased with the aging of the Baby Boomers and Generation X'ers. This course will focus on popular brands of spherical soft bifocal contact lenses suitable for patients with less than 1.00 D of cylinder. (Patients with more than 0.75 to 1.00 D of cyl will most likely require a soft toric bifocal or a gas permeable bifocal to achieve adequate vision.)
