Ocular Findings
There are several ocular findings associated with Herpes simplex virus infection. Some are more commonly seen in primary cases, others in cases of reactivation. Monocular situation!
  • Lid vesicles with edema
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Epithelial lesions (dendritic, punctate, geographic)
  • Stromal infiltrative disease (disciform, etc.)
  • Endothelial inflammatory disease
  • Neurotrophic keratitis
  • Iritis
  • Iris atrophy
  • Acute retinal necrosis
