Case 2: The Case of Fido's Affliction Once Removed
A 41-year-old white male presented for his yearly exam. He reported that he had "always had poor vision in his left eye." He had been diagnosed with coloboma OS many years ago. No medical history.

The Clues

  • BVA: 20/15 OD and hand motion at 5 feet OS
  • 45 prism diopter constant LXT
  • Other entrance testing and slit lamp findings unremarkable
  • Fundus as shown in photos below OS; unremarkable OD
