Case 3: The Case of the Incredible Shrinking Sclera

An 87-year-old white female presented with a chief complaint of "blurry vision in right eye."

The Clues

  • History of cataract extraction and YAG capsulotomy OS
  • Hypertension
  • Entrance testing was non-contributory.
  • BVA: 20/70 OD, 20/20 OS
  • NS cataract OD and a centered IOL OS with open capsule
  • Fundi as shown in images below.
