Oral medications play a pivotal role in the management of several ocular and periocular pathological conditions. They also, however, frequently have side effects that effect the eye and vision. Optometrists need to be aware of such side effects--not only from the medications they prescribe, but from those prescribed by other doctors and from self-directed remedies. This course will address all three areas.
