Because we are an educational institution, our fees are maintained at a very reasonable level. The fee for a comprehensive general eye and vision examination is $70 at the Atwater and Community Eye Care Centers in Bloomington and $75 at the Indianapolis Eye Care Center and IU Eye at Carmel. Fees for contact lens care, binocular vision assessment, ocular disease services, vision therapy, or other specialties vary with the extent of service involved.

We accept major credit cards. IU students presenting valid student ID cards may elect to have their bills submitted to the Bursar's office.

Our eye care centers accept a wide variety of vision insurance and governmental assistance programs. The following is a list of programs to which we will submit claims on behalf of our patients.
