Try on Virtual Frames and Lenses
ACTIVISU Solutions and the IU School of Optometry's AECC eyewear center have teamed up to make finding the perfect glasses fun--and as easy as 1, 2, 3!
  1. Stop by our eyewear center and we'll capture your picture through our special mirror.
  2. See, compare, and select your favorite styles in the frame board or in the virtual frame catalog. You will receive a personal login and password.

  1. Login from home or the office to the ACTIVISU website. Get your friends' and family's opinions. Select the best fit with fun and confidence.

Click here to go to the Activisu Log-in page

The service is free!
Once you have had your picture taken and received your password, you can log in to the site and select various styles and colors of frames to "try on" in the comfort of your home or office. Move the frames around on your picture to get an accurate image.

Your personal password protects your picture(s) from being viewed by others. If you don't have access to a computer, you can use the ACTIVISU service at our eyewear center and can even print your selections to take home. Additional options available through ACTIVISU at the eyewear center include:

  • Enter your prescription and see what the frames and lenses will look like with your prescription.
  • Compare lens choices. View the thickness difference between lens types in 3D. Discover which lens type in your prescription is the lightest in weight.
  • Discover what you would look like when wearing different colors of contact lenses.
  • Virtually apply antireflective coating and experience the difference it makes in looking through the lenses as the wearer--and how the lenses look to others.
  • Apply tints to your lenses and virtually try them on.
  • Discover helpful hints on how to select frames to flatter your features.

You may select your frame and lenses through the ACTIVISU Web Service; however, the order will not be placed until after one of our opticians has contacted you and confirmed it.
