One Project, Many Benefits
Today, we have an opportunity to shape the next 50 years of the IU School of Optometry with its new Optometry Eye Care Center in Bloomington, Indiana.
With your support, we will modernize our clinic practice, the key to the hands-on education that has kept the IU School of Optometry a leader among schools throughout the nation. We will also continue to provide our patients with the thorough professional care they have come to depend upon. And there's more we'll accomplish.
- Our new clinic will be home to state-of-the-art diagnostic technology like the Stratus OCT and the corneal topographer.
- Our new clinic will house a video conference center, linking our faculty, our students, and our colleagues here in Indiana to knowledge from around the world.
- Our new clinic will house a new and attractive eyewear center for the convenience of our patients.
Well Researched
Our new clinic will benefit research as well. In the last seven years, the IU School of Optometry's research grant funding has grown tremendously. We have expanded our research faculty and hired 20 new research technicians.
By moving our clinical practice outside of the Atwater building, we create two floors of faculty labs and offices. That's critically needed space for research that shapes the future of our profession.
With one new building, we can accomplish so much. With your gift, we can build it.
