Our school has outgrown its current building on East Atwater Avenue. In order to make room for our expanding programs, we are moving our clinic facilities across the street. The new clinic will be located within a block of the Optometry Building, facing East Third Street. This new stand-alone home for patient care will:

• Create a highly visible and easily accessible clinic for the campus and community.
• Provide a ground-floor entrance with adjacent parking.
• Expand our clinic to a space of over 22,000 square feet.
• Serve as a modern educational foundation for our students.
• Give a positive impression of optometry to the thousands of IU undergraduate and graduate students to carry with them to communities around the state and country.

The new Optometry Eye Care Center will house state-of-the-art diagnostics technologies like corneal topographers and the Stratus OCT. The new clinic will contain a video conference center that links our school to knowledge from around the world for our students, our faculty, and our fellow optometrists. And, of course, our new clinic will provide an attractive eyewear center boasting one of the largest selections of eyewear in the area--including exclusive frame lines and up-to-date styles for all age groups.

Look for the Optometry Eye Care Center to open in 2008.
