Applications must be submitted both to Indiana University (if not currently enrolled) and to the Optician/Technician Program. A new class begins each fall, but students with previous college experience may be able to begin the program in the spring semester by taking one Optician/Technician course (V153 Ophthalmic Dispensing) and general education requirements. If the student chooses to attend summer sessions, early graduation is possible.
