Would you like to Participate in a Study?

What we do:

Conditions that interfere with the development of vision are often difficult to detect in infants. We in the Infant Vision Lab at the Indiana University School of Optometry are studying how vision develops (please see "How do we learn what a baby can see?"), and are developing new clinical tests for infants. To complete these important studies, we need parents and babies to help.

We are studying infants less than one year of age. Most of our studies are completed in a one hour visit. The testing sessions are all run at a very relaxed pace with plenty of time to take a break for whatever your baby might need, and to discuss visual development and what we are studying.

If you would like to participate in one of our studies, or if you would like to know more about what we are doing, please call our patient and project coordinator, Diane Goss at (812) 855-4959, or Email her at ibaby@indiana.edu.

If you are interested in studying in the lab please see "For Students"
