Postdoctoral Fellows and Research Associates in Vision Science
Shrikant Bharadwaj
Dr. Shrikant Bharadwaj received his B.S. in Optometry in 2001 from the Elite School of Optometry, Chennai, India. Following his undergraduate degree, he went on to complete a Ph.D. in Vision Science from the University of California at Berkeley under the supervision of Professor Clifton M. Schor. Dr. Bharadwaj's doctoral research was related to the neural control of human focusing responses and how the neural control strategy changed with aging. Currently, Dr. Bharadwaj is pursuing postdoctoral research in the Infant Vision Lab at the Indiana University School of Optometry. He is working on issues related to how the focusing and eye alignment mechanism of infants work in coordination with each other to ensure clear and single vision.
