- Feel good -- Support an organization that has helped you. IU helped you become a doctor. Also, the Alumni Association helps fund homecoming events, opt/tech composite photos, and specialty gifts such as the new digital camera we received in 2003/2004.
- Alumni reunions/receptions -- Stay in touch and open the door to new career opportunities. Meeting IU alumni in your area can certainly help grow your practice.
- Network with other alumni -- Either electronically or in-person.
- Local alumni club newsletter -- Contains upcoming activities and events.
- IU Magazine membership -- Contains news and changes at Indiana University.
- Mingling -- Other IU optometrists keep you in the loop in regards to new developments in the field and let you know "who's doing what."
